Unfortunately not directly as those lots are basically buried into the world.ġ.- Rename your current "Electronics Arts" in your Documents Folder temporary to something else such as "LiveElectronics Arts"Ģ.- Start the game, this will signal the game to create a new "Electronics Arts\The Sims 3" folder within your Documents folder, when you reach the main menu exitģ.- Double click your Custom World Sims3Pack or place it in your downloads folder within The Sims 3 folder and install it through the launcher.Ĥ.- After its done installing, start your game and load that game, when in setup menu go into "Edit Town"ĥ.- Before going through the lots to save, go in Options and switch your view from Fullscreen mode to Window mode and open in an explorer the Library folder within the Sims 3 userdirectory.Ħ.- Now each time you save a lot to the bin, rename the 0xwithlotsofnumber.package file in the Library folder to something you recognize "Lot_blablablabala_40x40.package" for exampleħ.- After you are done with collecting, move all new files in the Library Folder to a temporary folder on your desktop and delete the newly created "Electronics Arts\The Sims 3" FolderĨ.- Rename your actual original userdirectory back to "Electronics Arts\The Sims 3" and move if you wish those lots from the temporary folder on your desktop to the Library folder of your actual gameplay. Like - I don't want to install the entire world I just want to yank the lots out of them (in package format) and throw the files in my Library folder. Actually, this is a secondary matter for me - what I really want to know is: is there a way to extract the Lots from Worlds without having to install the entire world?
